Amanda joins HMC Lawyers as an articling student after completing her law degree from the University of Alberta. During law school, Amanda was an active volunteer at Student Legal Services where she represented individuals from the low-income community in Provincial Court, and was captain of the law school hockey team. Amanda gained legal experience as a summer student working for the in-house legal counsel of a large Canadian pension fund.
Before law school, Amanda attended North Carolina State University where she earned her degree in business (with distinction) and minored in law and justice. At North Carolina State University, Amanda was a NCAA Division 1 golfer and National Academic All-American. Outside of school, Amanda has competed for her province and country at national and international golf championships.
