David Corrigan, KC, has practiced as a litigator for 30 years and has substantial trial and other courtroom experience in Alberta and other jurisdictions, including multiple jury trials. He also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution methods and has participated in numerous mediations and private arbitrations, including those involving complex multi-party matters in a variety of practice areas. 

In recognition of his professional achievements, Dave was appointed Queen’s Counsel (now King’s Counsel) in 2014. He has been frequently recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada® and was named Best Lawyer of the Year in 2022 for his work in insurance law. He is ranked as a consistently recommended lawyer by Lexpert® in the areas of commercial insurance litigation and plaintiff-side personal injury.

Dave’s practice has focused primarily on commercial insurance and disputes, as well as construction claims. He also handles serious personal injury cases, defamation matters, and professional negligence claims. He regularly presents his papers and case commentaries to clients, industry groups, and lawyers as part of his dedication to continuing legal education. 

Dave enjoys spending time with his family and community and is an avid hockey player, golfer, and hiker. He has a passion for travelling and landscape and wildlife photography.
