David Corrigan, Q.C. Named to the Best Lawyers in Canada List for Insurance Law and Personal Injury Litigation
HMC Lawyers would like to congratulate David Corrigan, Q.C. for being named to the 2023 The Best Lawyers in Canada list for Insurance Law and Personal Injury Litigation. Dave has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2021 and was named Calgary Lawyer of the Year in Insurance Law by Best Lawyers for 2022.
Dave is an innovative advocate, capable of finding novel solutions to difficult problems. Throughout his nearly 30 years of experience exclusively as a litigator, Dave has garnered substantial trial and other courtroom experience, including multiple jury trials. This experience allows him to find effective and timely solutions for his clients, both inside and outside of the formal litigation process. Dave also has extensive experience participating in mediations, private arbitrations and other dispute resolution processes, including those involving complex multi-party matters in a variety of practice areas.
Dave’s practice has primarily focused on commercial insurance and commercial litigation disputes, and construction claims. Dave also handles personal injury claims (from both a defence and plaintiff perspective), defamation, and professional negligence claims. Dave has appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta, and in several other jurisdictions. In 2014, he was appointed Queen’s Counsel.
