During law school, Meghan clerked at the Supreme Court Family Division in Halifax where she experienced the unique challenges associated with family proceedings and how to be an effective advocate for her clients. Meghan also volunteered full time with Dalhousie Legal Aid Services (DLAS) for her final summer. At DLAS, Meghan gained significant hands-on experience helping clients navigate the legal system. During her final year of law school, Meghan was one of six students selected to participate in the Responding to Sexualized Violence Clinic where she engaged with many of Canada’s leading experts in sexual assault law, seeking to understand, identify and challenge the systemic failures of our justice system.
Meghan spends her spare time with friends and family, and enjoys golfing, hiking, and downhill skiing.
