Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Finance in 2016 from the University of Saskatchewan, where he was also a member of the University of Saskatchewan Huskies Football team. He then worked for a couple of years in the finance industry prior to pursuing his legal education. He graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law in 2021. He went on to article in Lethbridge, Alberta at a full-service law firm and joined HMC Lawyers after he was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2022.
Mark’s academic achievements during his finance education earned him a place on the Dean’s List in every term. His academic achievements in law school included a 2nd Place finish as a member of the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law’s team in the 2021 Western Canada Family Law Competition and was the recipient of the Douglas A. Schmeiser Prize in Constitutional Law.
During his spare time, Mark enjoys reading, exercising, hiking, and skiing. He can be found taking his daily walks with his Fiancé and their dog, Hank.
