
Praveen’s practice includes commercial litigation and insurance defence.
Praveen has extensive experience representing the interests of corporations and individuals on complex litigation matters. She has appeared in the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the Provincial Court of Alberta.
Graduating from the University of London in 2014, Praveen was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2018. She has an international outlook, having attended law school in central London, United Kingdom. During her time in London, Praveen was secretary of her law school’s division of Lawyers Without Borders.
Prior to her studies in London, Praveen studied sociology at Queen’s University on the Queen’s University Excellence Scholarship. During her first year, she attended the Bader International Study Centre based at Herstmonceux Castle in southern England. Throughout her studies at Queen’s University, she remained on the Dean’s Honours List. During the summer, Praveen worked as a student at a mid-sized firm specializing in foreclosure proceedings.
Praveen is a proud member of the Association of Women Lawyers (Calgary), Lawyers for Equity, Access and Diversity (LEAD) and Global Lawyers of Canada.
