Josh graduated from Wheaton College (MA), where he was a four-year member of the baseball team. He then returned to his home in Calgary where he completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Calgary. Josh grew up playing sports where he learned the value of hard work, teamwork, and staying connected to accomplish a common goal.
During his undergrad, Josh was a baseball all-academic member his final three years and, upon graduation, earned the distinction Magna Cum Laude. While at the University of Calgary, Josh was a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC). He helped run the Elementary School Mock Trial program, which taught legal basics to youth in schools across the city. Josh was recognized for academic achievement while at the University of Calgary. He was named to the Dean’s List in 2022 & 2023 and was the recipient of the 2023 Tom F. Mason Award for Excellence in Legal Research.
During his spare time, Josh loves to give back to the game he grew up playing. He’s spent the last seven years as a baseball coach, including the last four with the Wildcats Baseball Academy. He loves spending time with his friends and family, often out at dog park with his Fiancé and their Bernese Mountain dog Gryph.
