
Thomas earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2025. For his undergraduate education, Thomas obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Alberta where he was heavily involved in campus leadership.
Before pursuing his legal education, Thomas worked for Alberta Health Services and in the non-profit sector with Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival, which furthered his passion for community engagement and service.
While at the University of Calgary, Thomas developed his advocacy skills by being active outside of the classroom. He was elected to the Society of Law Students all three years, representing his class as the First Year Representative, Vice President Clubs, and President. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) in the Elementary School Mock Trial program, serving as a Student Caseworker with Student Legal Assistance, and served as VP Events of OUTLaw. During his second year, Thomas was part of the winning team of the 2024 Bennett Jones Health Law Moot.
In his spare time, Thomas enjoys spending time with his loved ones in Edmonton, Saskatoon and Calgary. While in Calgary, he loves hiking, downhill skiing and catching the latest movie in theatres.
